Two types of analysis are done in this lab:
• Qualitative Analysis: By this analysis one can know the types of chemical species present in any solution or sample. It is mainly done to know the unknown compound or sample. The species are detected by physical properties such as retention time, retention volume, absorbance, transmittance showing the reading of peak.
• Quantitative Analysis: The analysis is done to measure the amount of the species present in any sample. What amount of chemical species is present in any sample are detected by quantitative analysis.
